I grew up in Black Mountain, and I’m a proud graduate of UNC Asheville with a B.S. in Environmental Studies. In my free time, I can usually be found attending a local soccer game, visiting my son, Killian, who is a student at Western Carolina University, or hiking with our three rescue dogs. My husband, Scott, and I love to check out concerts at the many local venues or grab dinner and a drink at one of the amazing local restaurants and breweries that Asheville is known for. I also love to embrace my creative side, and spend a lot of time sewing or knitting, and making soap for local craft shows.
As a native of the Asheville area, I have grown up with all the beauty and wonder that Western North Carolina has to offer.
